The Bard Early College Raptors just played last night, but they'll still head out to face the Glenville Tarblooders at 7:00 p.m. on January 23rd. Bard Early College will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings (they are ranked 745th, while Glenville is ranked 107th).
On Monday, things could have been worse for Bard Early College, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 45-30 loss to HEARTS for Jesus Christ. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Bard Early College has scored all season.
Meanwhile, Glenville had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 16.3 points), and they went ahead and made it four on Sunday. They snuck past Lutheran East with a 49-44 victory.
Bard Early College has not been sharp recently, as they've lost seven of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-8 record this season. As for Glenville, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season.
Bard Early College was taken down by Glenville 87-33 in their previous meeting back in February of 2022. Can Bard Early College avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
