In what's become a running theme this season, the American Leadership Academy Patriots gave their fans yet another huge victory on Monday. They took their match at home with ease, bagging a 44-17 win over Combs. The victory was just what American Leadership Academy needed coming off of a 48-14 loss in their prior matchup.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead American Leadership Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Brooklyn Evans, who scored ten points along with six steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Jadyn Collins, who scored ten points along with seven rebounds and three steals.
Despite the loss, Combs still got an impressive performance from Ashlyn Tucker, who scored nine points along with six rebounds and three blocks. Tucker is on a roll when it comes to blocks, as she's now posted three or more in the last three games she's played.
American Leadership Academy's victory bumped their record up to 15-10. As for Combs, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last nine matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-14 record this season.
American Leadership Academy will be playing in front of their home fans against the Knights at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Combs will be staying on the road on Wednesday to face off against the Broncos at 5:30 p.m. on January 31st. Poston Butte presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Coyotes in Arizona (the Broncos are ranked 79th, while the Coyotes are ranked 224th).
