Congratulations to this week's top players! We're covering the best performances in games played  on  Thursday and Friday (using all statistics entered as of the time of writing). Enjoy!
A Season-Best  Performance from  Omar Loya Leads Dexter over Socorro
  Omar Loya produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Dexter to the win  on Friday. Loya rushed for 202 yards and two touchdowns on only 13 carries, good enough to  set a new career-high in  rushing yards in the process. His longest rush was for an impressive 65 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.
 The  win for Dexter keeps them at an undefeated 8-0. Their road trip will continue as they head out to face Hot Springs at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday.

 Socorro was sadly handed a  defeat on Friday, but  Isaiah Ocampo did his best to prevent it. Ocampo turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 112 yards and a touchdown, while also throwing for 177 yards and two touchdowns on only 16 passes.
 Socorro moved to 5-2 with that  loss, which also ended their five-game winning streak. Ocampo and Socorro will square off against Cobre at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday.

Dexter Gets a Boost from George in  44-29  Victory
  Kaesn George was instrumental in extending Dexter's winning streak to eight on Friday. George was unstoppable, rushing for 100 yards and three touchdowns on only 12 carries. That's the most  rushing yards  he has posted since back in October of 2023.
 This year,  George  has averaged 79.4 receiving yards per game.

Orrin Russell Has Career-Day  on Friday
 On Friday, Hatch Valley got the W thanks in part to  Orrin Russell playing the best football he has all season. Russell rushed for 181 yards and three touchdowns, good enough to  set a new career-high in  rushing yards in the process.
 The  victory made it two in a row for Hatch Valley and  bumps their season record up to 5-3. Russell and Hatch Valley will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Dexter at 7:00  p.m.  on October 25th.

Cohen Tomasits Delivers Best  Performance of Season
  Cohen Tomasits produced his most outstanding game to date while leading New Mexico Military Institute to the win  on Thursday. Tomasits rushed for 170 yards and two touchdowns on only 11 carries, good enough to  set a new career-high in  rushing yards in the process. His longest rush was for an impressive 60 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.
 If the past is any indication,  Tomasits could be in store for another big game when he takes on Ruidoso on Thursday. Tomasits rushed for 42 yards and two touchdowns, and also picked up 64 receiving yards and a touchdown the last time he and the Warriors duked it out  back in October of 2023.
