After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Mt. Edgecumbe, the Soldotna Stars were happy to have found some success on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Redington 57-13 on the road.
Soldotna found their leader in underclassman Juliet Innes, who scored 14 points along with seven rebounds. Anaulie Sedivy was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
Soldotna's win was their third straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 1-1. They've been dominating during the contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 27.33 points. As for Redington, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-2.
