Columbia Academy extended their losing streak  to seven  on Friday, dropping them down to 1-7. They had to suffer through  a    70-0 loss at the hands of the Nashville Christian Eagles. The Bulldogs lost against the Eagles in their previous head to head  back in December of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the  49-21 score last time.

As for Nashville Christian, the  victory keeps them at an undefeated 8-0. The  wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 13.1 points on average over those games.
 Nashville Christian had a senior duo take command as  Jared Curtis threw for 217 yards and six  touchdowns on only 19 passes and  TJ Ward gained 130 total yards and two touchdowns. Thanks to that big game,  Curtis is now up to 20  passing touchdowns on the season. Another player making a difference was  Zane Crampton, who picked up 38 receiving yards and a pair of  scores.
 Columbia Academy didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next  matchup,  a  38-0  loss against Davidson Academy on the 24th. As for Nashville Christian, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next  game,  a  65-12  victory against Ezell-Harding Christian on the 24th.
