Koltyn Perez Game Report: vs South Fulton

Koltyn Perez put up the most strikeouts he's had since back in March on Monday. As a matter of fact, he turned in his biggest game of the season, striking out six batters over five innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits (and not a single walk). Carlisle County is undefeated when Perez allows two or fewer earned runs, but 5-6 otherwise.

Coming up, Perez and Carlisle County will be playing in front of their home fans against Massac County on Thursday. The Comets had to take a loss when they last met the Patriots, but Perez had little to do with the loss: he went 1-for-3 with one run and one RBI. Can he match (or beat) that performance?
