The Indian Springs Thunderbirds lost against the Round Mountain Knights back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Indian Springs received a tough blow as they fell 55-39 to the Knights. Indian Springs has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Indian Springs lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Vance Dilger, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 16 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Jordan Stone-Catozza, who almost dropped a double-double on 11 points and nine rebounds.
Round Mountain's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Blake Bullington, who scored 24 points along with eight steals and five rebounds. Bullington hasn't dropped below five steals for 11 straight games. Keiran Swafford was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 25 points and ten rebounds.
Indian Springs' loss dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Round Mountain, their win was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 12-3.
Indian Springs will head out on the road to challenge the Panthers at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Pahranagat Valley is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last five games.
