Oakland has enjoyed a four-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will challenge the Riverdale Warriors at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Oakland will be strutting in after a victory while the Warriors will be coming in after a defeat.
Even though Oakland has not done well against the Blaze recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. In a tight match that could have gone either way, Oakland made off with a 52-51 victory over the Blaze.
Meanwhile, Riverdale took a serious blow against the Patriots on Monday, falling 76-34. Riverdale was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 44-20.
Oakland is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 13-10 record this season. As for Riverdale, they dropped their record down to 3-11 with that loss, which was their third straight on the road.
Everything came up roses for Oakland against the Warriors when the teams last played on Monday as the squad secured a 76-34 victory. With Oakland ahead 44-20 at the half, the game was all but over already.
