The Oakland-Craig Knights were the 41-39 winner over Logan View/Scribner-Snyder when they last played one another back in December of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. Oakland-Craig fell 47-40 to Logan View/Scribner-Snyder on Thursday.
Several Knights players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Mason Pearson, who scored 9 points along with 7 rebounds and 3 blocks. Another player making a difference was Dawson Meyer, who scored 3 points.
Oakland-Craig's loss dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Logan View/Scribner-Snyder, their victory bumped their record up to 1-0.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Oakland-Craig will square off against South Sioux City at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Logan View/Scribner-Snyder, they will head out on the road to face off against Aquinas on Saturday.
