It was a good run, but Geneva unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell 8-5 to the Slocomb Red Tops. The Panthers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Red Tops earlier this season, when they won 6-3.

Geneva now has a losing record of 10-11. As for Slocomb, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season.

Geneva will challenge Dale County at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Slocomb, they will be playing at home against Providence Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
