The team relied heavily on Naya Leuck, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI. Clara Carter was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.
Mt. Carmel always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .531. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Del Norte only posted an OBP of .333.
Meanwhile, two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Scripps Ranch walked away with it. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Chieftains a 12-0 shutout on Tuesday.

On the hitting side, Alina Grady was a standout: she went 2-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. That's the most runs she has posted since back in May of 2025. Another player making a difference was Ruby Bryant, who went 2-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.
Mt. Carmel's victory bumped their record up to 16-8-1. As for Scripps Ranch, their win bumped their record up to 13-11-1.
Fans could be in store for some top-tier slugging on Wednesday. Mt. Carmel hasn't had any problems when it comes to power this season, having averaged 0.8 home runs per game. However, it's not like Scripps Ranch struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 0.5 home runs.
