Baseball Game Preview: Chickasha Fighting Chicks vs. Plainview Indians

Chickasha is a perfect 3-0 against Plainview since April of 2023 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Fighting Chicks will host the Indians at 5:00 p.m. Plainview took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Chickasha, who comes in off a win.

Chickasha took a loss when they played away from home on Monday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They blew past Harrah 8-2. Considering the Fighting Chicks have won seven games by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, Plainview was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against Elgin, falling 13-1.

Henry Harlow was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one home run. That home run was his first of the season.

Plainview's defeat dropped their record down to 14-12. As for Chickasha, they now have a winning record of 8-7.

Chickasha got the 'W' in their previous meeting back in April of 2025 against Plainview by a conclusive 8-0 score. Will the Fighting Chicks repeat their success, or do the Indians have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
