The Prairiland Patriots lost against the Chisum Mustangs back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Prairiland fell to Chisum 41-35. Prairiland has not had much luck with Chisum recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Leading Chisum to victory were Brooklyn Atnip and Emma Garner. Atnip scored 13 points along with 5 rebounds and 3 steals, while Garner scored 10 points along with 8 rebounds and 3 blocks. Atnip is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now stole two or more in the last nine games she's played.
Prairiland's defeat dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Chisum, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-6.
Prairiland will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Commerce at 3:00 p.m. Commerce is looking to tack on another W to their six-game streak on the road. As for Chisum, they will face off against Honey Grove at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday.
