Baseball Recap: Central Florida Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Central Florida Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 5-4 heartbreaker at the hands of the First Baptist Christian Academy Crusaders.

Lucas Click and Vax Vouriotis stepped up to the plate in a big way. Click scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2, while Vouriotis scored two runs and stole two bases while getting on base in two of his four plate appearances. Click is also on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now stole at least one in each of the last three games he's played. Dominic McCrory also deserves some recognition as he stole his first stolen base of the season.

Central Florida Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for First Baptist Christian Academy, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0.
