Tolland and the Bobcats are an even 5-5 against one another since February of 2016, but not for long. The Tolland Eagles will head out on the road to take on the South Windsor Bobcats at 6:45 p.m. on Monday. Tolland is no doubt hoping to put an end to a five-game streak of away losses.
Last Wednesday, Tolland came up short against the Golden Hurricanes and fell 51-38. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Tolland has scored all season.
Meanwhile, even though Windsor Locks scored an imposing 59 points on Friday, South Windsor still came out on top. South Windsor managed a 65-59 victory over the Raiders. The win was just what South Windsor needed coming off of a 92-46 loss in their prior matchup.
Tolland's defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-8. As for South Windsor, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-10.
Tolland took their win against the Bobcats in their previous matchup two weeks ago by a conclusive 60-40. The rematch might be a little tougher for Tolland since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
