Meanwhile, Viewmont never let their opponents score on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 10-0 margin over Woods Cross. The win continues a trend for the Vikings in their matchups with the Wildcats: they've now won nine in a row.
London Dickerson was a major factor no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out 11 over five innings pitched. Dickerson was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with three runs and one stolen base.

Thursday's game will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Skyline hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .331. However, it's not like Viewmont struggles in that department as they've averaged .330. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Skyline suffered a grim 17-0 defeat to Viewmont in their previous matchup back in March of 2022. Can the Eagles avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
