After low-scoring totals in their previous three contest, Smethport brought some dynamite into their most recent game. They blew past the Galeton Tigers 23-15 on Friday. With that win, the Hubbers brought their scoring average up to 6.2 runs per game.
Cassidy Szuba was incredible, going 3-for-4 with six stolen bases, five runs, and two RBI. Those hits were her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Payten Lenze, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs.
