Volleyball Recap: Fort Collins' Luck Changes for the Better on Tuesday

Fort Collins needed a changed in momentum after dropping four straight games and they got it from Raegan Swanson. The Lambkins put the hurt on the Greeley West Spartans with a sharp 3-0 win on Tuesday with plenty of help from Swanson, who had five digs and two aces. She is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 12 or more in each of the last three games she's played.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-8, 25-15.

Fort Collins' victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 3-9. As for Greeley West, their loss was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-9.

Coming up, Fort Collins will head out to face off against Loveland at 6:30 p.m. on the 25th. As for Greeley West, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Rocky Mountain on the 18th.
