The Elba Tigers lost against the Florala Wildcats back in February of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Elba took a 54-44 hit to the loss column at the hands of Florala. Elba has struggled against Florala recently, as their matchup on Friday was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.
Leading Florala to victory were Christian Greasham and Rayshon Coleman. Greasham dropped a double-double on ten points and 13 rebounds, while Coleman scored 19 points along with eight rebounds and five assists. Greasham has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last three times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Noah Bryan, who scored six points.
Elba's loss dropped their record down to 9-8. As for Florala, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-4 record this season.
Elba will be playing in front of their home fans against Kinston at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Florala, they will head out on the road to take on Elba at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
