After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Buford, the Harrison Hoyas were happy to have found some success on Thursday. They blew past Cartersville 73-51. That's another feather in the cap for Harrison, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Cartersville's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kaytlin Arnold, who scored 14 points. Another player making a difference was Zoie Shiflett, who scored 8 points.
Harrison's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Cartersville, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.
Harrison will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Calhoun at 3:00 p.m. As for Cartersville, they will head out on the road to face off against Northwest Whitfield at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
