The Galt Warriors's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their tenth straight loss. They were dealt a 84-30 defeat at the hands of Rosemont. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Galt in their matchups with the Wolverine: they've now lost seven in a row.
Rosemont's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Nick Wafula, who scored 13 points along with eight rebounds and four steals. Wafula also posted two blocks for the first time this season. Amahd Ellis was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with four steals.
Galt has not been sharp recently as the team's lost 15 of their last 16 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-20 record this season. As for Rosemont, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-15.
Galt will take on the Diamondbacks at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Union Mine knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past 26 matchups -- so hopefully the Warriors like a good challenge.
