Meanwhile, Family Christian's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their ninth straight defeat. They were dealt a 60-24 loss at the hands of Brazosport Christian.
Living Stones Christian dropped their record down to 0-7 with that loss, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Family Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-9.
Living Stones Christian took their victory against Family Christian when the teams last played back in December of 2022 by a conclusive 65-42. The rematch might be a little tougher for Living Stones Christian since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
