Last Friday, Cimarron-Memorial came up short against Legacy and fell 58-50. Cimarron-Memorial has struggled against Legacy recently, as their matchup on Friday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Meanwhile, Canyon Springs lost to Rancho on the road by a decisive 65-47 margin on Friday. Canyon Springs has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Cimarron-Memorial's defeat ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 13-8. As for Canyon Springs, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost ten of their last 13 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-11 record this season.
Cimarron-Memorial didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Canyon Springs in their previous meeting back in December of 2023, but they still walked away with a 46-41 win.
