St. John will challenge Drake/Anamoose on the road at Drake at 7:00 PM on Friday. If you head out to watch the game, expect to stay the whole 48 minutes : the MaxPreps national rankings predict a close match.
St. John simply couldn't be stopped last Thursday, as they easily beat Dunseith 68-6. No one had a better game by the numbers than sophomore Peter Houle, who brought his A game into the match. He rushed for 211 yards and 3 touchdowns.
Meanwhile, Drake/Anamoose lost to Towner-Granville-Upham by a decisive 0-17 margin.
St. John's win lifted them to 3-0 while Drake/Anamoose's defeat dropped them down to 0-3. The St. John defense had it out for the quarterback last game and accrued 8.0 sacks, so hopefully Drake/Anamoose's offensive line has put in some good practice this past week in preparation for the matchup.
