Pittsfield and Farmington are an even 5-5 against one another since February of 2019, but not for long. The Pittsfield Panthers will head out on the road to take on the Farmington Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Pittsfield comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
Last Wednesday, Pittsfield ended up a good deal behind Concord Christian and lost 62-43. Pittsfield has not had much luck with Concord Christian recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
The losing side was boosted by Brayden Pelletier, who scored 19 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Justin Rivera, who scored nine points.
Meanwhile, Farmington unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Friday. The match between Farmington and Littleton wasn't particularly close, with Farmington falling 81-62. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Pittsfield's loss was their fourth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 0-8. As for Farmington, their loss ended a 12-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-3.
Pittsfield came up short against Farmington when the teams last played on January 3rd, falling 53-45. Can Pittsfield avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
