The Triopia/Meredosia-Chambersburg/Virginia Trojans will face off against the Seymour Indians at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Triopia/Meredosia-Chambersburg/Virginia will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each match than the last.
On Thursday, Triopia/Meredosia-Chambersburg/Virginia got the win against North Mac by a conclusive 17-4. The result was nothing new for the Trojans, who have now won 18 contests by six runs or more so far this season.
Addilynn Tracy was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Tracy was also big at the plate, going 1-for-4 with three runs, one triple, and one stolen base. That triple marked the first that she has hit this season.

In other batting news, Addison Rohn was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, four runs, and three RBI. Those four runs gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Raye Greenstreet, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI.
Triopia/Meredosia-Chambersburg/Virginia always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .605. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as North Mac only posted an OBP of .385.
Rushville-Industry hit Seymour with a five-run fourth inning on Thursday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Indians took a 10-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rockets. The Indians have struggled against the Rockets recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.
Triopia/Meredosia-Chambersburg/Virginia has been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-7 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.2 runs on average over those games. As for Seymour, their loss dropped their record down to 13-13-1.
Triopia/Meredosia-Chambersburg/Virginia beat Seymour 9-4 in their previous meeting two weeks ago. Will the Trojans repeat their success, or do the Indians have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
