On Tuesday, Skyview had to suffer through a rough 65-17 loss at the hands of Harvest Prep Academy. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Skyview has scored all season.
Leo Cordova was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 22 points and 11 rebounds for Harvest Prep Academy. That makes it four consecutive games in which Cordova has scored at least 25% of Harvest Prep Academy's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jared Haro, who scored eight points along with five rebounds and three steals.
Skyview has not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-3 record this season. As for Harvest Prep Academy, their win ended a three-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 1-3.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Skyview will face off against Ajo at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Harvest Prep Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against 91st Psalm Christian School at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. 91st Psalm Christian School comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
