Stephenson won the last time they faced Stone Mountain and things went their way on Tuesday too. Everything went the Stephenson Jaguars' way against the Stone Mountain Pirates as the Stephenson Jaguars made off with a 52-27 victory. The Jaguars have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 contests by 22 points or more this season.

Several Pirates players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Makayla Wilson, who posted 18 points. That was a full 66.7% of Stone Mountain's points, marking the 11th time in a row she's put up more than a third of the team's points. Dalys Monfait was another key player, putting up eight points.

Stephenson's win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-9. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 24.5 points per game. As for Stone Mountain, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last 11 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-13 record this season.

A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Stephenson Jaguars challenge the Luella Lions at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Luella will roll in looking for their tenth straight victory, something Stephenson surely won't give up without a fight. As for Stone Mountain, they are taking a road trip to take on Riverdale at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Stone Mountain is facing Riverdale at the right time seeing as Riverdale is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
