In what's become a running theme this season, the Brewer Bears gave their fans yet another huge win on Friday. They blew past Saginaw 75-21 on the road. Winning may never get old, but Brewer sure is getting used to it with their seventh in a row.
Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Saginaw struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only an offensive rebound. That's the fewest offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
Brewer is on a roll lately: they've won 17 of their last 19 games, which provided a nice bump to their 26-4 record this season. As for Saginaw, they dropped their record down to 7-18 with that defeat, which was their third straight at home.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Brewer will take on Aledo at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Aledo will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings (they are ranked 133rd, while Brewer is ranked 40th). As for Saginaw, they will stay at home for another game and welcome Azle at 6:15 p.m. on January 30th.
