The Episcopal Academy Churchmen pushed their score all the way to 58 on Saturday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a hard 72-58 fall against Friends' Central. Episcopal Academy has not had much luck with Friends' Central recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Friends' Central's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Muhsin Muhammad, who scored 21 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Reid Belcher, who scored 16 points.
Episcopal Academy now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Friends' Central, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 6-1.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Episcopal Academy's road trip will continue as they head out to face La Salle College at 7:00 p.m. on December 14th. As for Friends' Central, they will take on William Penn Charter at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
