The Berean Christian Eagles will square off against the Campolindo Cougars at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. Berean Christian knows how to get runs on the board -- the squad has finished with ten runs or more in their past nine games -- so hopefully Campolindo likes a good challenge.
Berean Christian barely beat Las Lomas the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Eagles blew past the Knights 10-3 on Tuesday. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten matchups by seven runs or more this season.

Berean Christian let Hanna Lavino and Leila Rhoads run wild. Lavino went 2-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and one double, while Rhoads got on base in four of her five plate appearances with three runs. Those two runs gave Lavino a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Emma De Carlo, who went 1-for-3 with two runs and one RBI.
Meanwhile, Campolindo had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They had just enough and edged out Mt. Diablo 7-6 on Tuesday.
Paige Williams made a splash while hitting and pitching. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out ten over 6.2 innings pitched. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 5.2 strikeouts per game. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with three runs, one triple, and one stolen base.
In other batting news, Peyton Tallarico was excellent, going 2-for-3 with three RBI and two doubles. Those RBI were her first of the season. Lucy Wilson was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
Campolindo hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post two or more strikeouts.
Berean Christian has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-3 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.7 runs over those games. As for Campolindo, their victory bumped their record up to 7-13.
Everything went Berean Christian's way against Campolindo in their previous meeting two weeks ago, as Berean Christian made off with a 10-0 win. Do the Eagles have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Cougars turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
