Harrison is a perfect 10-0 against Rye since May of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Huskies are taking a road trip to face off against the Garnets at 4:30 p.m. Harrison is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 10.5 runs per game this season.
Harrison had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 17-run drubbing they dealt Pelham Memorial on Wednesday. The Huskies blew past the Pelicans 19-2. The victory continues a trend for the Huskies in their matchups with the Pelicans: they've now won eight in a row.
Lia MondeLLa made a big impact no matter where she played. She struck out nine batters over five innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off four hits. Mondella was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.

Meanwhile, Rye was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 6-5 heartbreaker at the hands of Eastchester.
Harrison's record now sits at 4-2. As for Rye, their loss dropped their record down to 0-3.
Everything went Harrison's way against Rye in their previous matchup last Tuesday, as Harrison made off with a 15-5 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Huskies since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
