The Pleasant Grove Vikings's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight defeat. They fell just short of Lone Peak by a score of 54-52. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Pleasant Grove in their matchups with Lone Peak: they've now lost three in a row.
Lone Peak was led to victory by Seth Haskett and Thomsen Kramer. Haskett scored 14 points, while Kramer scored 13 points along with five assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Haskett has scored all season. Jackson Taylor was another key contributor, scoring nine points.
Pleasant Grove has been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 11-8 record this season. As for Lone Peak, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-8.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing American Fork the next time they take the court. Pleasant Grove will host American Fork at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while Lone Peak will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
