Arlington had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 13.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Southwind Jaguars a 15-0 shutout. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 15-0 back in March.
Brooklyn Knight was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching three innings while giving up no earned runs off five hits. Looking ahead, Arlington will head out to take on Tipton-Rosemark Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Rebels will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Tigers surely won't give up without a fight. As for Southwind, they will be playing at home against Manassas at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.
