The matchup between the Trinity Tigers and the Madisonville Mustangs on Wednesday hardly resembled the 0-0 effort from their previous meeting. Trinity was the victim of a rough 9-0 defeat at the hands of Madisonville. Trinity just can't catch a break and has now endured four defeats in a row.
Trinity's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Madisonville, the victory got them back to even at 4-4-4.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Trinity will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Jacksonville at 5:00 p.m. on February 9th. Trinity's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end. As for Madisonville, they will head out on the road to take on Westwood at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Madisonville is facing Westwood at the right time seeing as Westwood is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
