Despite the defeat, Ocean Lakes had strong showings from Jasymn Miller, who scored 21 points, and Samara Williams, who scored eight points along with 18 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Miller has scored all season.
Ocean Lakes has not been sharp recently, as they've lost seven of their last nine contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season. As for Kempsville, their victory bumped their record up to 10-7.
