The Lynn Bears had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 39.4 points), and they went ahead and made it six on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Berry 50-0 on the road. Lynn pushed the score to 44-0 by the end of the third, a deficit Berry had no chance of recovering from.
Cale Tittle continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 83 yards and a touchdown on only seven carries, while also throwing for 114 yards and three touchdowns. Logan Madison also deserves a shout-out for his two touchdowns.
Lynn's victory was their third straight on the road, which bumped their overall record up to 7-1. They've been dominating during the matchups in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 36 points. As for Berry, their loss dropped their record down to 2-6.
Lynn will be playing in front of their home fans against South Lamar at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. South Lamar is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune. As for Berry, they will head out on the road to face off against Brilliant on Friday. Brilliant is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak.
