The Pinecrest Prep Crocs won the last time they faced Archimedean, and things went their way on Friday too. Pinecrest Prep walked away with a 44-35 win over Archimedean. The win made it back-to-back wins for Pinecrest Prep.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Pinecrest Prep to victory, but perhaps none more so than Aaron Castellon, who scored eight points along with five rebounds and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Christian Nolasco, who scored ten points along with six rebounds.
Several Archimedean players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Joseph Vega, who scored 20 points. The matchup was Vega's third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was David Lopez-Lantigua, who scored 11 points.
Pinecrest Prep's win bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Archimedean, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pinecrest Prep's road trip will continue as they head out to face Horeb Christian at 4:00 p.m. on December 11th. As for Archimedean, they will square off against BridgePrep Village Green at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
