Ryan Burger and Shawn Parker provided fans with a highlight when they connected against Daniel Boone. The longest such play in AAA District 1 this season, the connection resulted in 78 yards.
Dobyns-Bennett extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Science Hill, 37-34. The win marks 10th in a row for the the Indians.
David Crockett's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Pioneers feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Burger has thrown for 565 yards and three touchdowns this season, while Devin Walker has 14 catches for 305 yards. Jordan Turner leads the league in rushing with 389 yards.
A big matchup in AAA District 1 this week will be when the Trailblazers take on Tennessee. As it stands, Daniel Boone is in third, while the Vikings are in fourth.
Sullivan South took down Sullivan Central 54-7 last week, the largest margin of any game.
