Cooter's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Tyson Banks, who scored 15 points along with 6 rebounds and 4 steals. The contest was Banks' third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Caleb Gunnels, who scored 18 points along with 8 rebounds.
Northeast Arkansas Christian Home Educators' loss was their third straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 0-3. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 26.7 points per game. As for Cooter, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-0.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Northeast Arkansas Christian Home Educators will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Mountain Home Christian Academy at 11:00 a.m. on December 30th. As for Cooter, they will head out on the road to face off against Southland at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
