Mylie Carlson Drops League-Best Effort on Thursday
Starting off the list is Monarch's Mylie Carlson, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Carlson threw for 150 yards and four touchdowns, and also rushed for 54 yards on only seven carries.
With the win, Monarch broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-3. Looking ahead, Carlson and Monarch will take on Blanche Ely at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Boykin Came Up Big in Stoneman Douglas' 27-6 Victory
Daria Boykin was instrumental in extending Stoneman Douglas's winning streak to four on Wednesday. Boykin was unstoppable, picking up two sacks, making three total tackles, and defending one pass in addition to snagging an interception which she returned one-yard for a touchdown. She is on a roll when it comes to sacks, as she's now posted at least one in each of the last three games she's played.
Stoneman Douglas' win was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-0. Boykin and Stoneman Douglas will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against Boyd Anderson at 5:45 p.m.

Samantha Calavetta Makes It Two for Stoneman Douglas
Keeping Boykin company is Samantha Calavetta, a fellow Stoneman Douglas player. She threw for 172 yards and three touchdowns while completing 73.9% of her passes.
On the year, Calavetta has thrown 13 touchdowns (and no picks) while averaging 195.8 passing yards per game. She's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, she was only averaging 105.5 passing yards per game.
