Basketball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Andrew Kelly and Jaxon Howard Lead Faith Christian Academy to Victory

Faith Christian Academy waltzed into their matchup on Monday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They strolled past the Pitt County P Pacers with points to spare, taking the game 52-35. The Conquerors have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Pacers, too.

Faith Christian Academy was led to victory by Jaxon Howard and Andrew Kelly. Howard posted 24 points in addition to seven boards and six assists, while Kelly almost dropped a double-double with 16 points and nine rebounds. Kelly is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as he's posted one of at least 50% in the last four games he's played. Cody Tillman was another key player, putting up five points and eight boards.

Faith Christian Academy's victory bumped their record up to 7-1. As for Pitt County P, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.

Coming up, Faith Christian Academy will square off against Trinity Christian at 7:30 p.m. on December 2. The Conquerors are facing the Tigers at the right time seeing as the Tigers are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Pitt County P, they will take on Jacksonville Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
