Godwin put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They never let the Deep Run Wildcats get on the board and left with a 6-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 8-0 back in April.
Katelyn Hubley made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out 13 over seven innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in eight consecutive appearances.
