AAAA Region 6 Top Player Performances of the Week
Congratulations to this week's top players! We're covering the best performances from Friday's football action (using all statistics entered as of the time of writing). Enjoy!
Aedan Mccarthy Turns in Season-Best Performance
Bluffton was led to victory by Aedan Mccarthy, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Mccarthy threw for 239 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 11.4 yards per attempt, and also rushed for 93 yards on only 13 carries.
Mccarthy and Bluffton will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Colleton County at 7:30 p.m. on October 18th. The Bobcats got just the result they wanted when they last faced the Cougars, probably because Mccarthy had a solid game then too: he threw for 130 yards and two touchdowns on only six passes, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground. Can he match (or beat) that performance?
