The Comfort Bobcats/Deer are taking a road trip to face off against the Ingram Moore Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Comfort has given up an average of 8.8 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.
Comfort couldn't beat Florence on Friday even though they stacked five runs on them in the third inning. The Bobcats/Deer lost 20-10 to the Buffaloes. The Bobcats/Deer have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Ella Thiele made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Mariah McCullough, who went 3-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
Meanwhile, Ingram Moore entered their tilt with Brady on Friday with five consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with six. They had just enough and edged out the Bulldogs 6-4. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Warriors have posted since February 27th.
Kylie Traub made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run while striking out nine over seven innings pitched. Those nine strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was also big at the plate, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with three stolen bases, two RBI, and one run.
In other batting news, Ingram Moore let Kaylynn Way and McKenna McClintock run wild. Way went 2-for-4 with two RBI and one double, while McClintock went 2-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaycee Crawley, who got on base in two of her four plate appearances with one stolen base and one run.
Ingram Moore's record is now 15-7-1. As for Comfort, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-14.
Comfort might still be hurting after the 15-2 loss they got from Ingram Moore in their previous matchup back in April of 2025. Can the Bobcats/Deer avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
