The Washington Prexies will be playing at home against the Ellwood City Wolverine at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Friday, Washington didn't have too much breathing room in their match against McGuffey, but they still walked away with a 13-7 win.
Meanwhile, Ellwood City can now show off three landslide victories after their most recent game on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Riverside 41-0 on the road. The victory was just what Ellwood City needed coming off of a 42-14 defeat in their prior match.
Elijah Palmer-McCane was on fire: he rushed for 154 yards and four touchdowns on only 15 carries.
Washington's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which bumped their overall record up to 9-1. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 41.6 points per game. As for Ellwood City, their victory bumped their record up to 5-5.
