St. Thomas More Academy scored the most points they've had this season on Tuesday, but it wasn't enough. They came up short against the New Life Camp Storm, falling 64-40. The Chancellors have struggled against the Storm recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

When it comes to explaining why St. Thomas More Academy lost, don't look at Adella Dehring. Despite the final result, she posted 17 points in addition to eight boards and three steals. LIlian Marquardt was another key player, putting up six points and four steals.

New Life Camp's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Hannah Brown led the charge by shooting 80% from the field on her way to 19 points. The contest was Brown's third in a row with at least 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Hannah Edwards, who earned eight points along with seven assists and five rebounds.

St. Thomas More Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for New Life Camp, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

St. Thomas More Academy has already played their next game, a 57-46 defeat against Cary Academy on the 20th. As for New Life Camp, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 53-48 loss against Cary Christian on the 24th.
