Basketball Recap: Rancho Christian Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Win

Rancho Christian put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They took down the Middleton Vikings 83-67.

Rancho Christian's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Addison Archer, who dropped a double-double with 30 points and ten rebounds. The contest was Archer's fourth in a row with at least 23 points. Alyson Boyd was another key player, shooting 5-for-5 from deep and dropping a double-double with 23 points and ten boards.

Several Vikings players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Dawn Holman, who posted 15 points along with three steals and three blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of Miley Steele, who scored 12 points and eight rebounds.

Rancho Christian's win bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Middleton, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Looking ahead, Rancho Christian and La Jolla Country Day will face off at 6:15 p.m. on Friday without much rest, having both just played. The Eagles will need to watch out since the Torreys have now posted at least 55 points in their last four matchups.
