Volleyball Recap: Union Wins Going Away Against Coweta

Union barely beat Coweta the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Redhawks put the hurt on the Tigers with a sharp 3-0 win on Monday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Redhawks also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

One reason for the win was Union's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-19, 25-17.

The victory got Union back to even at 8-8. As for Coweta, their loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 7-15.

Union has already played their next match, a 3-2 win against Charles Page on the 9th. As for Coweta, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Claremore on the 9th.
