St. Catherine is a perfect 3-0 against Christchurch School since March of 2024 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Saints will face off against the Seahorses at 4:30 p.m. St. Catherine's is coming into the contest hot, having won their last eight games.

St. Catherine's saw some tournament action on Saturday. They blew past Nottoway 10-4. The Saints might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven games by six runs or more this season.

St. Catherine's got a massive performance out of Izzy Viruet, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Keira Frazier was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-4.

Viruet wasn't the only one working in the hit department: St. Catherine's kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 17 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits every time they've taken the field this season.

Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Christchurch School's offense. They came up short against Trinity Episcopal on Friday, falling 10-0. Having soared to a lofty 15 runs in the game before, the Seahorses' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Christchurch School dropped their record down to 1-7 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for St. Catherine's, their win bumped their record up to 9-1.

Christchurch School's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: St. Catherine's hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .357. It's a different story for Christchurch School, though, as they've only averaged .201. Will they be able to contain St. Catherine's hitters?

St. Catherine's took their victory against Christchurch School in their previous meeting back in March by a conclusive 10-0 score. Do the Saints have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Seahorses turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
